Fiscal Supervisor

Job Description

The Fiscal Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Fiscal and Human Resources Department Manager in the oversight and performance of fiscal activities for The Pennsylvania Child Welfare Resource Center (Resource Center).Responsibilities for this position include budget development/management; expenditure management; audit support; invoice processing, travel management and purchasing; financial information system and fixed asset management; contract development/monitoring; and supervision. The Fiscal Supervisor functions as a team member in the Fiscal and Human Resources Department for the Resource Center.Bachelor’s degree in business, business administration, accounting or closely related field required. Minimum of five years’ experience in accounting, budgeting, purchasing and/or financial management required. Excellent interpersonal, budgeting, writing, computer, and spreadsheet software skills required. Minimum of two years’ supervisory experience, familiarity with contract management, knowledge of data system design and development, and exposure to grants from state and federal sources preferred.Must have excellent analytic, problem solving, and collaboration skills. Must have excellent skills in facilitating interaction/communications of the Resource Center/University with numerous other large organizations, including universities, counties, state government, and other public and private human service organizations. Tasks are complex with some standardization.A valid driver’s license is required.
