The University of Pittsburgh’s Mechanicsburg Child Welfare Training Programs is seeking a Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Supervisor. This position will be responsible for overseeing and supporting Pennsylvania’s Quality Service Reviews (QSRs), Child and Family Service Reviews (CFSRs), PA Child Welfare Council, and the Child and Family Service Plan (CFSP)/Annual Program and Service Report (APSR). The CQI Supervisor would also oversee and coordinate all Statewide CQI efforts. The CQI Supervisor will provide direct supervision to multiple staff members. He/she functions as a team member of the Statewide Quality Improvement Department for the Pennsylvania Child Welfare Resource Center (Resource Center), and the Resource Center Management Team.

Note: Position is located in Mechanicsburg, PA. Travel is required for this position.

PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check, and FBI Criminal Record Check will be required as a condition of employment.

Master’s degree in social work or closely related field required. Excellent leadership, interpersonal skills, analytic skills, writing skills, customer service skills, management skills, collaborations skills, and facilitation skills are required. The incumbent must have knowledge of Child Welfare Best Practice, program evaluation, Continuous Quality Improvement process, and project management.

Minimum of five years’ experience in child welfare and/or related human service field. A minimum of two years providing direct supervision preferred.

A valid driver’s license is required.
