The Research Technician works within the matrix environment of the Drug Discovery Institute (DDI) assisting investigators and collaborators in the development, optimization and implementation assays for the identification and characterization of biological probes and/or drug lead candidates.

Assays will be biochemical and cell-based with an emphasis on phenotypic and high-content assays. This position will require experience in biochemistry, molecular biology, cell culture and fluorescence microscopy.

Experience in assay automation and using automated/robotic liquid handling and HTS detection instruments is desired.
